1. Who are your musical influences?

So many! But just to name a few: The 3rd and the Mortal, Muse, Dredg, Dead can Dance, The Gathering

2. One thing that I love is the use of a violin in music. How long have you been playing?

Around 18 years I believe

3. Do you or any of the band have any pre show rituals?

I guess we all have our little routines. Stephan one of our guitar players for instance speed-plays every song before going on stage! I do some warm up exercises, sing and aria and the highest parts of the songs, then I do a few stretches (especially neck stretches, to prevent headbanging injury!) right before going on stage.

4. What is the craziest thing that you can remember happening at a show?

Mmh, not much really; besides being very active and wild on stage we don't have any specific anecdotes!

5. At EMAB, one of the things we care about the most is anti bullying, is there any advice you would give to a person being bullied?

Never take whatever a bully tells you personally. Bullies just have a need to feel superior and cooler than the rest, because deep down inside they feel they're not!

6. What is the hardest thing about touring?

Being totally dependent of the venues you're going to when it comes to accommodations and food. If you're unlucky and you have a few shows in a row where you can't eat well or have a place to just sit down and unwind that just really brings your energy down.

7. Your lyrics and music are so deep, do you have to be in a certain mind set to write that personal and deep?

I have to be alone, it doesn't really matter where or when. As long as I can devote my full attention to writing.

8. What is one thing you must always have with you at a show?

Microphone :P

9. If you could work with any musician you wanted, who would it be and why?

Well, I have to say that a lot of my dream collaborations have come true already; I feel so blessed! But let me think... there's this Norwegian progressive band called Leprous that I just LOVE. It would be brilliant to do something with them!

10. What advice would you give to someone who wanted to try and make is as an artist?

Always look for ways of growing and becoming a better musician, songwriter and performer; never assume you know everything! Get advice and feedback from musicians you look up to.
