In Memory Of

They were both the best kind of people. Kind, humble, and passionate about this kind of music and about life in general. They died following their hearts and dreams. Although they were taken from us way too soon, we should all hope to be so lucky as to die doing what we love as they did. Wormreich will continue on in their honor until the day I am taken from this mortal coil. Thank you. - Vulk

 Nicholas "Dyret" Crisostomo

Nick was a man of passion and had a heart made of gold. As a young teen nick starting learning the drums and he was self taught for many years. Doing drums for school and his community he really evolved into a well rounded drummer. The man loved all kinds of music but what really made his heart race was metal. Everything from power metal to doom metal to grind metal to death metal and to black metal. In 2008 Nick Viktor and my Self (james) formed the band called Immortal Decay, where we took our identities ad Dyret, Septim and Balor. That band lasted until spring 2011 with t h e final line up having Svierg on bass in addition to our original trio. With the Hiatus of Immortal Decay Nick joined the ranks of Palkoski. A raw barbaric grind death metal band with Todd on guitars and Kerch on ambient/abstract noise percussion instruments and vocals.

He continued with the for 4 more years. Palkoski then went on a small break to record studio time and also Kerch and Todd started working on another project called Lord. Shortly after I and Moline  joined the ranks of Khaotika, we left our other project Antikosmos and reconnected with Septim to reform Immortal Decay. Shortly after Immortal Decay was reformed Nick expressed interest in coming back as well and now the original trio were back in what we started 7 years ago. A few months later Khaotika needed a new drummer and so I recruited nick and thus Khaotika had the perfect line up. January was the first time Nick had practiced with Lariyah and Sergio and as to my expectations they quickly approved of Nicks abilities and welcomed him to our family and brotherhood. We managed to record our single Hollow Grounds with a bonus track called Sulfur Road with Nick. This CD is the only music Nick recorded with Khaotika.

The man loved his family and friends. All he ever wanted to do was get out and play good music and give people inspiration and make them feel great. He always had the best intentions and always put others before himself. He was the best man I have ever known and I loved him like a brother. He will be missed but never forgotten. His memory will reign forever through the music he has done with all these bands. -Balor
