  • Who are your musical influences?

KT Paige: “Our influences are really all over the charts. We’re influenced by everything from Aerosmith and Black Sabbath to Shinedown and Asking Alexandria.”

  • How did the band form?

KT: “After exiting his previous band, Alex was looking to start his own. I begged him to let me audition and he finally said yes (Even though he was under the impression that I could only sing Disney Princess songs).  Then, he asked our friend Danny to play bass.  All that was left, was to find the perfect drummer. I reached out to Marcus, who was actually in a band with Danny in the past) and Boom! Romantic Rebel was born.”

  • What is the craziest thing that has happened at a show?

KT:  “Almost every show ends ups getting crazy, but at one of our most recent ones, a fan asked me to sign his butt so he could get it tattooed. I didn’t think he was actually going to do it, but low and behold, a photo and video were up on Facebook the next day!”

  • I know you all are a pretty young band, what is the most important lesson you have learned so far?

  •   “We’ve learned that hard work is the key to success.  When you’re in a business like this one, you can never stop working and making sure your band is constantly at its best.”

  • What is the hardest thing about being on tour?

KT:  “Being away from family and friends is always tough, but other than that, as difficult as touring may look, it’s our favorite thing to do.”

  • What is the best coolest experience you have had so far?

KT: “Definitely getting to share the stage with some of our idols.  It’s mind-blowing thinking how we used to watch these bands from the crowd and now we’re up on stage with them.”

  • What would you tell someone who wanted to know what it takes to be in a band and how to get started?

KT: “The best tip I could give would be to constantly network.  Make as many friends in this business as you can.  The music industry is much smaller than it appears to be once you get into it.  Every connection you make is an important one.   The Monday night show you played with only the bartender to watch you may be more significant than you think.  The bartender may be best friends with the A&R guy at Sumerian. You just never know. That’s why you always have to play like there’s 10,000 people watching you.  Even when there’s not even 10.”

  • I watch you interact with your fans quite a bit, have you ever found friends in some of them?

KT:  “We consider all of our fans friends.  They are a part of our Rebel Family.  Each state and city holds a special chapter of the Rebel Alliance.”

  • To you, what is the most important thing to remember in a musician’s life?

KT: “Always remember where you came from.  Your fans make you what you are and you can never forget that.  Without the support of fans, friends and family, you won’t move forward in this industry.  Unless you’re in Motley Crue or KISS, this business has no room for oversized egos.”

  •   Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

KT: “If we keep progressing at the rate that we are, I see us being everywhere in 5 years.  We hope to tour the world and add International chapters to the Rebel Alliance!”
